From shoes to pants! These Conic Section pants were a huge hit with the kids! These drawings were some of my favorites to draw on the board (chalk board to be specific) during class. Such a satisfying 3-D on 2-D surface drawing.
In case you were wondering conic sections are, they are the curves created by a plane intersecting a cone. Many times you will see them depicted as intersecting a pair of cones aligned vertex to vertex like an hour glass. This specifically makes the hyperbola curve make more sense visually.
These pants include neon renditions of the four classic conic sections including parabolas, hyperbola, ellipse, and circle.
