Street Shoes for Osa

The fun continues in a new direction. Osa sent me 6 pairs of Nikes and hereโ€™s where the first three have ended up! Iโ€™m pretty tickled with how they came together. From researching what people often do with Nikes, I took a mathematical twist. Simpler than many of my designs, in terms of the mathematics, but more complicated in their construction as the shoes are pleather and require different steps to complete.

First, this pair was inspired by the Louis Vitton patterns found on some high top sneakers. Usually the iconic LV is surrounded by its other symbols, but I went for the irrational backbone of much of mathematics: pi. this one seemed like it needed quiet sophistication with the brown stripe around the bottom of the shoe.

Three down, three to come.

UTP Mural done!! (Minus finishing touchesโ€ฆ)

The inspiration coming from an old postcard that Shawn, the chef and owner of UTP, has collected. To the left there will be a display of old Lorain postcards and underneath there will be some old suitcases to complete the photo-op. Excited to see this almost done!!

Now where to put my signatureโ€ฆ

Pop over to Instagram (or see below) to peep my first two reels ever!! They about the mural, obviously.
