2021 Year-in-Review

Such a great year for commissions!

I had multiple pieces in galleries all over NE Ohio, and so many -Ness by Julie Originals were made!! (Click here to see commissions) I even got an honorable mention at the Firelands Area Art League Gallery in Norwalk!!

This year was a learning curve on many fronts. First, trying to figure out how to navigate completing commissions outside of the home while navigating the limited options for pandemic childcare, was tough. Second, the imposter syndrome was REAL this year as the things I was asked to do ramped up! I’m excited, but, whew, I also feel like I’m drowning in insufficient talent. Finally, we bought a house! Woot! With that comes figuring out new art spaces and making them appropriately cozy, creative, and functional.

Thank you to everyone who came and checked out one of my shows, or commissioned me to make an idea come true. You truly warm this artist’s heart.

Love to all,

Julie
